Is it safe to have my children at home during the pest control?

Generally speaking, the chemicals we use are safe, we use only APVMA products that have been approved in hospitals, schools and child care centres however, we do recommend keeping any small children from coming into contact with the chemical while it is wet.

We also recommend that if anyone suffers from asthma, allergies or if someone is pregnant that they are not present while the treatment is being carried out and for a period of 2 hour after. Our chemicals are odour free and low in toxicity and are extremely safe once it dries

When can I clean the floor inside?

We recommend that you clean the floors before your treatment as we ask you not to carryout any mopping for a period of one week after a general spray and two weeks after a flea treatment.

Do I need to empty my kitchen cupboards?

Generally speaking no, you don’t have to, the only time we ask you to empty kitchen cupboards are when you are experiencing a cockroach infestation. Other than that, we only ask you to cover any open food on bench top. We apply gel to kitchen cupboards and hinges.

Is the chemical safe around my pets?

The amount of active ingredient we apply during a treatment is very minimal however we highly recommend that you keep all pets away while the spray is being carried out and for at least half an hour after or until the chemical is dry.

Is there anything we need to do to prepare before the technician arrives?

Yes, we ask that any animal bowls and bedding are removed from the floor area and any children’s toys or lose items etc.: shoes, clothing, moved away from the skirting broads.

How long does it take for the technician to do the treatment?

Depending on the size of the property and if there are any infestations it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

Can I wash my house down after treatment?

We highly recommend that you wash and clean down all areas of the house prior to pest treatment as it will dilute the chemical barrier.

When do you guys come in for end of lease flea treatment?

We recommended that we are the last trade people into the property once all is cleaned and carpets cleaned for pest treatment.

How often should I treat my property?

We recommended treating your property annually as this helps stay on top of any major pest issues or infestations.
